Digital Painting and the Creation of
Multimedia Prints
with artist Steve Stanczyk
Explore the different stages of creating a multimedia print from the beginning
steps of sketching, painting and/or photography. Learn how to scan photos,
artwork and objects and then manipulate them in Photoshop, creating unique
compositions that can be printed out on canvas or paper. Once the compositions
are printed, learn about the variety of mediums and varnishes available to
create unique textures and glazes on the prints for visual enhancement. Examples
of both current and past mixed media and digital artists work will be shown via
PowerPoint, giving an historical and contemporary framework for the course,
revealing the broad influence of digital art and the transformation of
art-making practices and creative culture as a result of the digital

How to Take Better Photographs
with Revival Arts Studio
Designed to strengthen the creative and artistic side of your photography,
this workshop is for the novice photographer (with any type of camera
- point and shoot or SLR), who wants to learn some basic techniques to
improve his or her photography. Jason and Darcie Brown of Revival

how composition and light are used to create eye catching photographs,
showing many recent examples from their portfolio as inspiration.
