The mission of The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford is to become the centre of cultural and creative innovation in the Fraser Valley. We are committed to preserving and sharing the stories of our rich and diverse cultural heritage and showcasing the best in the visual arts from both inside and outside our community.

engaging hearts & minds

Tour & Try is an arts and heritage enrichment program for students from kindergarten to grade 12.

Come to a place where you can expose your students to new ideas as they explore our differences and similarities in an environment of mutual respect and understanding. The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford is committed to preserving and sharing the stories of our rich and diverse cultural heritage and showcasing the best in the visual arts from inside and outside our community.

The Reach Tour & Try provides opportunities for visual, social and emotional learning while students explore regional, national and international arts and heritage.

The arts—visual, performing, literary—are intrinsic to critical thinking and the ability to create, problem-solve, and understand the world around us

In these interactive sessions, students engage in an animated tour of the current exhibitions and participate in a hands-on studio workshop led by a professional artist.

The multi-disciplinary workshops range from visual arts, storytelling and drama to music and media arts. All workshops are designed in context to current exhibitions and are booked in consultation with teachers, subject to availability of artists.

The Tour & Try arts and heritage enrichment program is available weekday mornings from Tuesday to Friday starting at 9:30 and runs approximately two hours.
