Curated By Lisa Edwards
Originally from China but currently based in Surrey, Ketty Haolin Zhang is an emerging artist whose work deals with diaspora and millennial identity.
For her project Gen 1.5 at The Reach, Zhang combines installation, performance, and photography to address her own experience as a “1.5 generation” immigrant, constantly navigating between cultures and discourses. The Art on Demand exhibition program is a part of Emerge @ The Reach, a creative incubator that offers exciting professional development activities to aspiring curators and artists between the ages of 18-35.
