This exhibition features 40 works of art that showcase the persistence of the spindle whorl—a tool traditionally used by Coast Salish women to prepare wool—in the art practice of acclaimed Coast Salish artist Susan Point. This exhibition is organized and circulated by the Vancouver Art Gallery and curated by Grant Arnold, Audain Curator of British Columbia Art, and Ian M. Thom, former Senior Curator–Historical.
