When you support your Reach, you make an important contribution to the social and economic fabric of your community.
The Reach Gallery Museum is a registered Canadian charity and not-for-profit society. What that means to you, our generous individual or business giver, is that you enjoy supporting the exceptional arts and heritage programming at The Reach, while receiving a tax-deductible receipt for your donation. Even more rewarding is the lasting impact you leave on The Reach, and your community. You and your dollars, help us build an inclusive, healthy and attractive place to live and thrive for current and future generations. You help us develop life skills for younger ones, build innovative future leaders and create a lasting, accessible history for all to cherish. The Reach engages over 20,000 people each year through its programs and exhibitions. Charity BN # 84669 6227 RR0001
Sponsorship is when a business makes a donation to The Reach and, in return, receives advertising or promotion of its brand, products or services. The Reach’s fundraising and public events, exhibitions, creative kids programming, Voices of the Valley museum and archives initiatives are developed and built through the generous giving, leadership and community spirit of businesses and individuals. Whether motivated by social responsibility, marketing opportunities, community connection building or premium brand alignment, we love to explore aligning your company’s giving goals and team culture with opportunities at your Reach.
Your giving augments the funding we receive from government operational fee for service and grants. Some examples of what you, local businesses, foundations and governments fund at The Reach include: art and heritage exhibitions, our museum, a new scanner for the archives, a touch-screen laptop and three tablets for Voices of the Valley exhibition, creative workshops for children, the interactive Sunday family arts program, online and hands-on educational kits, cultural programs, fundraising and research projects, and opportunities for summer students.
