Tracycakes’ Tracy Dueck and her creative food team are co-hosting a seasonal high tea with The Reach’s arts and heritage aficionados. Together, they invite you to gather at their table on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 4:30pm (high tea at 5pm) at Tracycakes Bakery Café, 2636 Montrose Avenue, for an intimate Holly High Tea fundraiser.

“High tea devotees will indulge in creatively designed savory finger foods and scrumptious handcrafted seasonal baked treats served with a Cranberry bubbly and specialty tea or coffee,” says Ingrid Epp, The Reach’s director of development and self-professed high tea fan. “Tis also the season for owner Dueck to step out of the kitchen and add to the frivolity by sharing tips, a recipe and tasting of a favorite holiday baking delicacy.”

Proceeds from this celebration will go to 100 Days of The Reach campaign. The Reach cares for over 4,700 artifacts that represent the memories and stories of our community, and the 100 Days of The Reach, is a unique 10th anniversary campaign that gives the people of Abbotsford the opportunity to select and sponsor one of the many precious treasures that The Reach houses. At a $100 donation (tax receiptable) per artifact, it makes a perfect Christmas gift. Locals Marg & Roy Warkentin are generously matching every dollar donated to this campaign up to $5,000.

Tickets to reserve your chair at the Holly High Tea table(s) on November 29, 2018 at Tracycakes in Historic Downtown Abbotsford, are limited due to the quaintness of the café. Purchase your tickets today: $34 Reach Friend or $36 Future Friend at The Reach (32388 Veterans Way) or at www.thereach.ca.
