The Reach Hosts a Jutta Holota Art Exhibition, Sale & Fundraiser

February 7, 2018 1:44 pm

The works of art in this exhibition represent the passion of a local artist. Jutta Holota painted to preserve the natural splendor of her adopted homeland in the Fraser Valley. Jutta was the founding member of the Abbotsford Palette Club, which formed in 1966 with eight members. Within ten years, the club had grown to include over 80 artists ranging from beginners to near-professionals and was drawing more than 1000 visitors to its annual exhibition.

Upon her passing in February 2016, Jutta’s family offered these works of art to Abbotsford Hospice Society. The 40 plus paintings in this exhibition are being offered to the community on display at The Reach Studio from February 6th to 20th. You may view and bid on these original works during The Reach hours: Tues, Wed & Fri 10-5 pm; Thurs 10–9pm; Sat & Sun 12-5pm (closed Mon). We ask you to bid generously.
